From klydo but re-colored it, would that not be a rip?
Without permission, then yes obviously...? Also, if you were using the background during the private development stages of your website, I'm sure they would allow it aswell.

This is inspired, not a rip, not even a form of ripping.
The only thing that -could- be seen as a rip is the background but he has it with permision so again not a rip.

A rip is stealing someone's work, changing minor details to it & selling/using it again

His looks alot different appart from the background.
His is even better then that eurovision one.

Wth are you on about?! I asked permission to use their background as I don't like taking things without permission. If you didn't mean that, could you please expand on what you're saying instead of looking like an idiot to me.

Oli, I don't want you to take this in any offence here.
Because, I have a huge respect for you.

But, so recentely, it seems with Devode, etc,
You (I mean no offence here, and an easy way to put it) have been up Simons backside.

Sorry if I did offend you.

    edit:

Simon, you say in a post, you ask permission to use a background easily achieved with Photoshop brushes.
It was pointless. We don't care you get a pointless e-mail to try and proove you have "contacts" with the Eurovision webmaster.

lol! Me and Oli are friends, he is no way "up my backside". If anything, I'm up his "backside".

Once again, lol. How is the email pointless if people are accusing me of ripping Eurovision for using it? By requesting permission, I can show that I haven't infact ripped them whatsoever. Oh and no I don't have "contacts" (I don't know why you are using speech marks seeing as I never said the webmaster was a "contact" of mine?..) with the Eurovision webmaster.

You can be up each others backsides, for all I care.
You should both start looking in non-biased perspectives.
That is the true definition of friendship, not afraid to express opinions of good or bad to the person.

edit: Simon, I don't care about the rip or not. You're getting proof about something YOU KNOW can be done with easy photoshop brushes.
Why try and proove it, when most photoshop designers, know?

I never designed the background, so I'm not going to claim that I did...:S
