    Not sure where to make this thread so I will put it here

    Can anyone explain to me the difference between https and http?

    habbo has https I wanst sure what is meant?

    http = hypertext transfer protocol
    https = hypertext transfer protocol secure

    Basicly Http is unsecure https is a secure site, userly banking etc will be https.

    If you see a website with https then it means it has a SSL certificate installed onto it. This is a certificate that ensures safety of information passed through the website.

    I didnt realise there was another thread about it. So basically habbo is https to stop hackers?
