well unless japan came out with the handheld camera first, i dont think they are the only source. its not that extraordinary of an idea, i'm sure two people on two different continents could have thought of the same thing. it's a type of "breaking the fourth wall," (characters acknowledging that there is an audience) something that has been used in plays for hundreds of years. many people are very interested in the concept, so im sure there are lots of different people could have thought of it.

i HIGHLY disagree with "everything originates from somewhere."

Fair enough. To, the concept of breaking the fourth wall.
    I understand you now.

But everything has to start somewhere.
Otherwise it breaks all logic, of the "start and finish"

I thought it was a really good film.
but the way that the Camera kept moving, since it was filmed as if someone was holding it
    was kinda annoying.

The reason for that was it was a different portrayal of the movie (blair witch project style), only showing you what the people in the film would see (1st person) in comparison to 3rd person where you would see and understand more, it sits you in the middle of the action, a first hand experience that helps to promote the confusion and anxiety normally expected in such an event.
