This is incredibly tragic with the two of them dead not least for all the family and friends they leave behind. Drugs are a terrible thing and the need to use them even worse probably. They both worked in an extremely high pressured environment and it obviously took its toll. It all goes back to this really and is probably the main cause.

    Very tragic

its extreamly sad him dieing as I remember watching him on the tele at quite a young age but I'd hardly call him an inspiration as a childrens tv presenter as he was taking drugs his wife (also a tv presenter) took those drugs as well causing her to go unconsious while running a hot bath. The hot water caused his wife to get 80% 3rd degree burns all over her body. He feeling so guilty over his wifes death obviously couldn't take the guilt any more and took his life. so yes it was sad he died but I wouldn't call him inspirational at all.
I’ll be a story in your head, but that’s okay, because we’re all stories in the end. Just make it a good one, eh? Because it was, you know. It was the best. A daft old man who stole a magic box and ran away. Did I ever tell you that I stole it? Well, I borrowed it. I always meant to take it back. Oh, that box, Amy, you’ll dream about that box. It’ll never leave you. Big and little at the same time. Brand-new and ancient and the bluest blue ever. And the times we had, eh? Would had…Never had. In your dreams, they’ll still be there. The Doctor and Amy Pond and the days that never came.

A good portion of TV stars are secretly drug users, it's a middle-class thing. You'd be surprised that a lot of your idols or what have you, snort cocaine on a regular basis. Cocaine is a rich man's drug. It is all tragic really.

I don't really have any 'idols' lol but I know what your saing alot of celebraties do take drugs but just because they are celebraties it doesn't make them 'inspirational' though.
