Smithing - Need advice.

I have been mining coal and mithril and have made 749 mith bars, and im not sure if I should smith them into kites/legs or if I should sell them and buy steel bars, then smith the iron bars into plates. I have been trying to work it out, here is my working so far, I figured steel may be better.

( where it says $ it means gp.)

Steel bar: $591 x 5 = 2,955gp
Steel plate(5): $1,306 xp = 187.5

1 Steel bar = 37.5 xp

Iron Ore = 84gp
+
Coal x 2 = 182 x 2 = 364gp

Profit =143gp

Mithril
1 bar = 50xp

Mithril Bar: $1,143

Mithril Med Helm (1): $507
Full Helm (2): $929
Mithril Kite Shield (3): $1,326

749 = $856,107 = 37,450xp

Total = - 476,364


856,107 (1,450 steel bars)
2,955 ( 5 Steel bars )

290 x187.5 = 54,375


Total xp.
Steel bars = 54,375xp
Mithril bars = 37,450xp

However I can sell/alch the items I make and buy MORE bars, meaning ill get more xp depending on the price of the item.

If you're a member then your best bet would be smithing the mith bars into mithril arrowtips. 15 arrowtips (1 bar) sell for around 960gp. Mine and smith more mith and coal and repeat.

If you're a F2P player then sell the mith bars and buy steel bars instead. Smith them into platebodys and sell/alch them. Buy more bars with the money and repeat.

You'll lose all of the money that you gained from selling the mith bars pretty quick if you're buying and smithing steel, but the experience is pretty fast. Once you're out of cash it's probably best to go back to mining mith and coal and making the bars.

1 Steel bar = 587 gp
1 Steep bar = 4 Cannonballs = 175 * 4 = 700
So thats 113 gp profit per.

1k = 113k Profit
10k = 1.13mil profit

etc.
