    i was looking for ways to speed up my wii's internet, and read that if i do the following;
    start->run->cmd->ipconfig/all
    i was just wondering if this would have any side effects to my computer/wii?

    Not really gonna make much difference if it worked. You need to get faster internet.

    Nothing much to do in CMD, but nothing could disconnect it like that.

    ipconfig, displays it?

    Doing that will just display some information about the network. It will not change anything.
