Habbox has said, many times before; they do not control the adverts, google does.
I believe, it searches through what you've been searching or certain posts on the site and realises "aha, this post is about bla bla, let's put an ad at the top of the page for bla bla" because they think "if they're viewing this, then they must want this"

And to Nick- what would be the keyword when it's on a pm page? The advert would of already been selected before anything had been entered into the pm.
I've never got that advert and I can't say I've ever seen a complaint relating to this particular advert before. If the keyword was on the default new PM page everyone would be getting it the majority of the time they wanted to send a new PM because the keyword should always be on that page. Which leads me to think this was just a one off but that still doesn't make it acceptable. :S

Nick, it may also go through the cache or w.e to see what sites you've been on and advertise things that may interest you.
