A serious GTA question...

I don't really care much for gaming, but i've loved all the GTA series, I always play every game (near enough) on PS2, but I always wondered:

Why is GTA VI only coming out on Xbox 360 and PS3?

I know that PS2 is almost like "old news", but I know of so many people who don't really feel like splashing out 200 odd quid for a console, just to play some game.

Pah, anyone know? Is it technical aspects? Or them just being tight?

I don't think it's down to spec's really much, third generation console's can handle large detail much better, and they also are HD which the PS2 isn't. Online play is also a issue as the PS2 can't really use online gaming like the PS3 and PSP can as it doesn't use the Playstation network system.

All in all it's just they want to keep it on the current consoles and so that you buy them.

You can get brand new Xbox's for about £140 these days so it's all coming down, and if you look in pre-owned sections or on eBay, you'll make huge savings.

ill guess that The 360 and ps3 Graphics are so good that it would make the game look crappy on the other consoles.

everybody i know who has played both agrees that they dont like either better than the other.

i honestly prefer a 360. not because i own it as that doesnt make a difference. it just feels better and is more fun.

There isn't a better console in its self, you can have as much evidence to back your opinion on whatever console you like, won't make it true though, even if you think you are right.

I could say 'ps3 is better because you don't pay for online'

and I do think that, and many more features, but im not gonna get into any arguements, because its kinda sad to argue what console is better.

Because as grpahics advance, they leave consoles behind. San Adreas was some of the best graphics for ps2, another GTA ps2 would basically be the same as SA.

I don't think the PS2 could handle the sheer size of it. That and the saves are way bigger than the av mem card I think.
