PS3 isn't in any way better. I'm not biased because I own both but the PS3 just sucks. I had quiet a few decent games when it came out and I got bored of it. All I used it for was to watch South Park online and staff because of the Internet browser and that way I could relax and watch it on my TV. No way is the PS3 a better console. Xbox 360 get way more better releases. You just stick to Killzone boy.

There is a difference which people seem to miss, the Xbox 360 has been out longer and the PS3 has some interesting games coming out soon. But then again, it's all based around opinion what games people prefer, but the fact is the Xbox 360 has been out longer and is sure to have more games.

That's not the point I'm trying to make. You're not gonna get Halo/Forza and all of them other good games we're getting.

Your not going to get GT5, Resistance, the Getaway, L.A. Norie, the new R* exclusive, Motorstorm, Rachet & Clank, and Uncharted, just to name a few

360 consists of the same old sci-fi FPS + one decent racing game.

Even though the PS3 is more powerful on paper, the games still look worse than when they are played on the 360. Not by much, but anti-aliasing isn't as clear on the PS3.

Well, take a look at them both and see which one you personally prefer. Both have a lot to offer, but from my experience, I prefer my PS3 to my other two consoles. The 360 is a good choice for someone who wants a good amount of selection and some of the best FPS games out there (though PS3's Resistance can hold its own against any of them), but if you're into RPGs you might want to go with Sony's console, considering Square Enix is releasing most of their high-profile games exclusively on the PS3.
