and i was really skeptical of vampire weekend too. i heard the "mansard roof" demo and was like "meh," but when they gave it a good review (sometimes they hype up a band and end up actually trashing the album) i bought it. needless to say, i wasn't disappointed at all.

im actually a bit bored of the entire album now, actually. i played it pretty much nonstop for about a month, the songs' catchiness didn't last. i'll probably re-discover them later in the year. best song = walcott, for shizzle. yeah, i've heard boston, its good. if it were to be on the album, it should replace "one," i never liked that song at all.

oh, well in america there's a dealio thing going. if you want to turn it into cash, it's 9 cents out of every dollar, but you can turn it into itunes, amazon, boarders' or a bunch of other gift cards for free.

[bleh, sorry about double post, my bad]

vampire weekend's album is incredible, i love 'oxford comma' and 'one', not really keen on 'bryn' and 'm79' though.

i knew id probably like it, i go through periods of liking arctic monkeys loads, then not listening to them at all, so chances of me liking LSP were quite high.

    oh.
i like every song on the album tbh, but i never really thought it was an amazing album. it's good, but not one of the best imo. i don't ever mind another playing ;]
