It only takes a week to make a layout from scratch, should be simple with Joomla!

Management have been saying a new layout is coming soon for what, months now.

I think they're still toying about with what to include, where and how. However, I've had the fortune to glance upon a concept and must say it looks like a big improvement Sit tight!

Some of you may think it is taking quite some time to get the layout ready but really as we are reincorporating the layout into Joomla 1.5 which is new software and trying to make the new layout as successful as possible we have taken time over it. It is important that all the site's functionality remains after the update without any bugs or problems and testing it all and ensuring the whole thing works correctly isn't a quick process. I don't think anyone would be pleased if Habbox had released an awful layout but quickly - there is time and effort being put into making this a big improvement on the current design of the site. I don't think there will be too much longer to wait - it will be worthwhile when it is released!

It takes a week maximum for a new layout, and a decent one too... Besides, a Habbo layout doesn't need intense graphics and complicated designs, they're simple and work best simple. The site layout only needs cosmetic work like the navigator enlarged and aload of things removed from the index/home page...

But then again you may have a slow layout maker, whoever they are.

@Gomme: They are coding it for Joomla! 1.5 or whatever. That takes longer than just designing and coding a site.

Also, I've seen the design and it's somewhat an inprovement :]
