Its not, the "type" of programme is called soap opera, eastenders is a soap opera, not a type. I really can't explain it to a lesser mind.

Soap opera can also be classed as a genre. Oh in that case why don't we have a sub-forum for every single new movie out that people like? I agree there should be a sub-forum for animated series but not just anime/manga.

Anime is not the name of a programe, its a type. Theres already a movies forum. There should be a sub-forum for just anime/manga because those are japanese and a load more different from "animated" series. Although, in another thread you said cartoons are for 'kids' which is what we are all acting like. Lol. You're funny.

There should be a sub-forum for animated tv series that anime and manga can sit under along with alot of other animated programs.
