To compare how this situation happens, Anime covers magazines, Anime is an internet phenomenon, Anime is on Television, it is applicable to NUMEROUS different modes of the media, this is the reason why there is a demand for an Anime forum.
I can completely understand, it can come under the "Other Entertainment" forum, and I think for users who want this forum to be created, they should make a point of deliberately posting threads discussing these topics.
It's obvious management want to see proof, what other proof can you, as users give, than to give them what they want, and in return, get what you want

50 people want a sub-forum. Get another 150 and elkaa may introduce your forum, until then stop making pathetic threads to try and persuade them to do it. You can't dictate what happens because you want something. You have to show there is a STRONG interest in the forum and you may get it.

Your not doing anything for yourself by making silly threads like this. Elkaa and the management have noted your request and they have gave you an answer. It wasn't a "no your never gonna get it". It simply stated that there is not enough user interest for the forum to be created.

Now lets drop it and close the thread?

people such as myself? people such as myself dont want extra ads here and prices raised for VIP because some forum for the 10% minority will take up more bandwidth on the server.

Because manga are comics, not television related and not much anime is shown on TV in the UK. I don't see why a Big Brother froum is needed when that fits more than perfectly in the television section as it's actually on TV.

Anime and Manga are two totally different things. Comics/Graphic Novels and Japanese Animation, there is no where to post about them.

2) I won't stop if they keep getting clsoed
3) Its been shown
4) They have noted it for quite a while now, and nothing has been done
5) It pretty much is a "no your never gonna get it"
6) I can't close threads im not VIP

End of the day if you want your forum, get one in the VIP sub-forums. Or on the other hand pop over to namecheap, purchase animeaddicts.net and I'll give you my vBulletin forum to use.

I dont buy VIP stuff unless someone does for me
I dont want to purchase another forum because it wont be as busy as this forum.
Also, why should i have to make my own forum to discuss something that a large number of people want to ;s

comics and graphic novels could easily go into non-habbo related graphics, and japanese animation can go in the "animations" forum.

and in response to both posts, if "they have noted it for quite a while now, and nothing has been done" - can't you take a hint? going on at them wont get you anywhere and you'll end up annoying them and further hinder your progress.
