    Default R.E/GCSE Mock Exam Results...

    I Didnt do so good.
Im In Year 8. Doing 1/2 a GCSE this year, and i got 8 marks.
    At least 15 to pass.

I dont believe in God, Jesus or anything like that. How am i supposed to put stuff into my head that i refuse to know. They Are Lies.
    My Mum Said:
"It's Just like Harry Potter, You Dont Have To Believe It To Write It Down."
Well, Its More Believable than jesus and god, I Have my own opinion.
I want to do this GCSE as a bonus. But its too soon and i just have no intrest in the subject in anyway.

    What do you think?

you cant use "i dont believe in god" as an excuse to why you are doing poorly. thats totally irrelevant and what you do in class and how much you take in is what matters. i wouldnt worry too much since you are taking your gcse in year 8, but does that mean you cant do it in year 10/11? if you cant, then i would start to buckle down and try harder, but if you can do it in year 10/11, then it doesnt matter as much.

Nah its not that, i cant take it in because it annoys me. Its like me telling you a pathetic lie and you believing it. Now if You Got questioned about that lie. You Wouldnt really know what to say. It sounds gibberish but i know what im on about.

Its one subject i do not like but, my teacher came up to me and said you have one of the top 10 marks in the class. She Lied, i Became the bottom three. Is she allowed to lie like that because i told my mum when she told me i was in the top 10. That got my hopes up. Is she allowed to lie like that though. I was really gutted being showed a "U" after being told that.

you have to get out of that habit, because otherwise you wont get a good mark. and about that "pathetic lie" thing, id still write about it regardless, as whether i think its stupid or not doesnt matter. you shouldnt see it as a "lie" but just something you dont believe in, and try to adjust to that change. also in exams, moderators dont care if you dont believe in whatever you are writing, as they are only looking for the correct information, and possibly different opinions/viewpoints if needed.

so just think of r.e like any other subject, and work at the same level you would in those subjects.

& about your teacher, i guess she can lie about whatever she wants, depending on how extreme it is. you'd have to ask her why she lied to you as we dont know why she told you that you got top marks, when you didnt. maybe to motivate you to do better and acheive higher as she made you believe you can get that top grade? but i dunno.

lmao at the 'just like Harry Potter' :p

Anyway, the thing about RE is that it is just about opinions! Which exam board are you using btw? Edexcel? AQA? because the Edexcel exam is mostly about opinions... you can gain half a grade if you get 4 marks in just the question d) which believe it or not is just an opinion!

On the other questions, they're where you put the facts in and you don't need to believe it to write it all down. Clearly your determination to succeed wouldn't care about your beliefs as long as you got everything you got down!

PS. If you're not doing Edexcel, I can't help because I don't have no experience with the others but I'm sure it's generally the same thing...

Death of a salesman was based on real life events. The wall street crash etc.

    Anyway.....

Isnt R.E. nothing about Jesus and more about the culture of many religions?

You don't have to believe in something to know about it :S the questions ask (if it's on Christian RE like mine was) what a "Christian response" would be, so not believing in it yourself is no excuse at all. I hate to think what your debate skills must be like if you can't understand any views other than your own.
