    Default Pokemon- Memories

I love the old Pokemon series, Kanto being my favourite. I remember when I was all excited, getting ready to watch a new episode. Then we got the game, and that was just awesome. Never was interested in the cards though. Oh yeah, I was on a trip in Las Vegas, chillin out with my friends there, playing Resident evil 2, then we went to go watch Pokemon 2000. We got this Mewtwo card, and it was just awesome. Anyone else have any memories of the old Pokemon?

I was a massive Pokemon fan! I watched the anime, collected the cards and played the games. I still remember watching the first episode with Ho-oh in, haha. Damn, those were the days.

I used to get up at like 7 every saturday/sunday morning to watch Pokemon. I remember there was this guy who would present a show on a rooftop by himself and he showed like Pokemon, Yu-gi-oh and all the stuff that was cool back then.

The original voice actors have left now, after 9 years! So now it sucks, but it was brilliant back in the day.

My mum took me to see Pokemon: The First Movie in the cinema. It blew my mind. Then there was that time I found £20 on the floor and went into Somerfield and bought Pokemon: Mewtwo Returns on video.

My mum also bought that Ancient Mew card that appears in Pokemon 2000 for me. It was £8.

I've still got all my cards. I have absolutely loads of rares. I wonder if they'll be worth anything in a few decades because a different company makes the cards now.

Also, my play time on all of my Pokemon games added together has to go past 1000+ hours, easily. 300+ hours on Pokemon Ruby alone. :8

When I was about 5, I had it all. I had every single card of the Johto set except for Tyranitar (which I could never find...). I watched the show every day. I was so outstanding by Pokemon crystal having both Kanto AND Johto once I'd beaten the E4. The only 5 Cards I didn't have from the Kanto set were Mew, Mewtwo, Alakazam, Gyarados, and Nidoqueen ^_^

It's all coming back, all the stuff, when I went to see Pokemon The Movie and got some special card, when I was in a kids clothing store and a woman was handing out random cards (I got a Nidoran, sis got an Alakazam ;-; )

Wow, I can remember so much about it. Then when I got to about 8, I stopped watching it and collecting the cards and stuff. Now All I'll do is play the games for the sheer exellence of gameplay.

The show was good, I remember being late for school but I didn't realise, it was already half 9 and I turned the TV on and was like
"I'm not waking mum up, pokemon is on!"

Aha, the games are awesome, the ones on the gamecube were excellent.

Cards, my mum still owes me 2 boxsets, she promised me if I got an injection I could have them, I still haven't got them

I remember being really pissed off because everyone had this new jungle boxset and I didn't .
Got it in the end though.

I have very fond memories on paying £3 a week for 11 cards. I got a massive box that had packets of cards inside for one of my birthdays, I was so excited!

I also had a book with pockets that my cards went in, but I insisted that the shiny ones were at the front, so each time I got a new card I would have to spend hours moving them.

I also remember being distraught when I used one of those xploder things on my game boy and lost my saved game!
