Quit smoking, it killed my grandparents when they realised they couldn't quit and contracted cancer.

Simple as that.

Smoke and feel 'cool' or stay off it and live.

Not everyone does it to "feel 'cool'"

Anyways, how else would you tell her then... tell her that you do it?

To be honest I'd quit if I were you, not because of the health risks and all that but you've mentioned that you might do, so you're obviously in the right mindframe for it. Also the thing with how your mum says she's proud of you for not smoking - that's what would get me. To make your parents proud is one of the best things you can do, and I think if more people realised that there'd be more respect and tolerance about.

I was like that, but things kicked off in my house (big fight and all) and i said to my mum "I dont care what you think but im dying for a cig" and she gived me one the speech contained swearing but im not gonna put it there Infractions init, just leave it eventually she will find out.
