For all those fretting about GTA4 freezing on PS3

You need to log out of PSN, then go to settings and disable internet connection and media server connection.

Then re-install the game data BUT it is not required that you delete your game saves.


I reccommend this be stickied for the time being and everyone hope for a patch soon

Its not the console, its the game.
If it was the console it would do that on every game. So don't blame it on Sony, when its Rockstars game. I'm sure they will fix it soon

So why demote yourself to his level. Grow up, leave PS3 owners alone and stick to your own Xbox threads. Respect other peoples opinions (which fanboyism is, just opinions, not fact). Also, you can't call the PS3 the crappier console when the problem is with the game "/ Afterall, should I bring up the 360 issues with RROD'ing, over-heating, crashing and unreliable service, which is what makes the PS3 a better console technical wise? Best not. The Xbox is only better because, which is fact, it has more games and a bigger fan base.
