And what I am saying is we shouldn't decide what is important. And you all say its unfair you have to check the announcement forum for "important" announcements but is it not unfair for other members to have to troll through an announcements sub-forum about news on events?

No as it would be directly under the Important Updates forum.

Or at least stop posting "dis event was a massive hit" when there was only 12 people turned up, we never used to have threads like tihs, why start?

I completely agree with you here, I spoke to him about the poor announcement's he has been doing.
I have told him he may recieve a department warning if he does not spell check / Grammer check his announcements anymore.

With the current system the Falling Furni would replace the Danger to forum accounts thread. As soon as a user logs in, they see the latest announcement... There should be a Important Announcements board and a Forum/Community Announcements board.
I agree to this too, Maybe two announcement threads would be a decent idea.

I think the council should check out this thread and read the feedback as it is a serious/important thing

The event threads have been around for a long while, as long as I can remember actually. It just happens that lately the events staff is a lot more active than it used to be so there are more announcements.

I would but can't see how you could solve this problem, having a special forum for this would be empty most of the time. Event updates kinda keep it alive. If there were two forums, would this not add to a messy announcements catagory (or whatever it's called)?

    Hmm, I spose.

Maybe, If there is an important thread which people need to read, and an events staff posts over it. Maybe the important thread should bumped
