Few other tips for some easy gold are;
Netherweave cloth sells for quite decent prices on any realm. Build up enough stacks and save them for either when you need it or sell it for spare cash.
Herbalists: If you're after Dreamfoil, go to Azshara and farm around Lake Mennar. If you take down the elite Dragonkin there they have a small chance to drop an Azure Whelpling pet. So far in five days I've had three drops. Horde side is a lot maturer/older than the Ally side, so sold them through my Ally character for 900g each, and they sold within minutes of putting them up - people want these pets.
