    Just kidding

I doubt we'll see a touch screen iMac ever, maybe the MacBook Touch. Only a 10" or so screen though. Long while to go...

it's not made by apple, but i think that they not neccesarily endorse it, but dont mind it, if ya get me.

they're quite cheap now. apple seem to be getting better with prices, like the latest ipod range

Sounds pretty good, also good for gaming.

There's a coffee table sized windows computer that's touchscreen and a waste of money v_v

I suppose it would be good for gaming... but quite a lot of games work for windows only.

Why not just build your own PC with better specs than that and use a modded kernel? It's cheaper.

Meh, from what I've heard, modded kernals are buggy, especially considering different types of hardware you can use. The reason Macs just work is because they are built with the OS in mind. They all use the same hardware, and the OS is built to work hand in hand with the hardware.

I'll probably buy the low specced one (I don't really need that power), and upgrade the RAM. Need a few hundred bucks before I can though (bank account currently sitting at $800 AU).

I bought my iMac 3 months ago. Paid £1500 odd for the top end 2.8 Ghz one, I want 3.06!
My bad, I over read the Processor specs.

Nah, I'm on OS X right now on an AMD Processor, it's pretty stable and has better specs than the Mac does (3GHz dual core (not better, but still good), 4GB DDR2 Ram, 1.5TB Space on 4HDD's (one I use for Windows), ATI Radeon HD3780 (well, i have 2 but it only wants to use 1)).
