    Default Graphics going bad

You can't see it very well in that picture, but I think it suffices.

When I'm on a game, the graphics will sometimes decide to corrupt and there are polygons flying everywhere and colours flashing and all that jazz. From what I know I'm not doing anything to trigger it, it just happens at random, but when it does happen it doesn't stop until I restart the PC. It also affects all games, e.g. it'll happen when I'm running Halo, then I'll open Far Cry and the same thing will be happening.

My PC easily reaches the minimum specs of the games; I have 2 nVidia 7600GT cards running in sli. If anyone has any idea what's going on, throw it towards me!

    Thanks in advance,
    Alex

You tried updating the drivers, or rolling back drivers if you've just updated?

Yeah, I would try that. Also, just to eliminate the possibilities you may want to run a virus scan?

    Post back whatever you try

Sounds like the cards may be overheating. Check the tempatures of the cards and post em here please.

No, that is due to a) not enough power or b) overheating.

    Give www.overclock.net a visit.

Sorry I've kinda negated this thread for a while, keep getting caught up in exams

How would I go about finding the temp of the cards? CoreTemp is showing 32 degrees C but if I'm right that's only the processor temperature. I'm kinda a noob when it comes to technical stuff

EDIT: I updated all drivers before I posted Its sort of an automatic reaction, like checking the firewall when msn doesnt work

Another EDIT: wig, AVG scans every day is isn't throwing anything up
