    Default Prom... Waistcoats.

    'sup homies.

Goin to the prom next month after exams have finished (hooah)...
Apparently, the shop I'm going to has masses of coloured waistcoats...
So... Does anyone have any recommendations?
I was thinking of perhaps a 'firebrick' red or 'steel' blue.

& Also, can anyone find like a list of thousands of colours for me? Like, perhaps with displays of the colours too.

    Thanksssss.

I personally think that waistcoats look slightly stupid. (I know 95% of people will disagree)

Ties looks much better IMO. At my prom I wore; a long sleeved blue-ish shirt and a skinny black tie (no i'm not emo) black trousers and a black jacket. It looked quite good tbh.

I personally like waistcoats, however the common stereotype with waistcoasts is 'gay'; just to let you know if you get any stick.

Steel blue and that brick thing sounds nice if they're thes ones I'm thinking of, white/grey may look nice too

I don't see how you can compare a waistcoat to a tie :S He'll most likely wear a tie with the waistcoat.
For my year 13 prom this thursday I'm wearing.. (assuming the waistcoat fits)
    Black trousers
    White Shirt
    Black Braces
    Red Diamond Tie
    Black Waistcoat
    Black Suit Jacket

But the suit jacket is only for the beginning of the night, when it gets too warm, I'll take it off.

Anyway enough about me, it depends on what colour tie you're getting :8

depends on what colour shirt you are wearing
it sounds stupid, but a black waistcoat with a red shirt would look great, and a grey waistcoat with a white shirt would also go
it needs to compliment the shirt imo
