I do agree that Richards has been an awsome player for City this year!

But I definetely think Lescott has done extremely well as a defender. He's scored 10 goals and as a defender, I see that as pretty amazing. He is just great in defence. Not sure if anyone agrees, but I think that.

Defenders aren't there to score, they're there to defend just as much as attackers are there to defend, they're there to attack.

I see where you're coming from but to give a defender that much praise for scoring just seems wrong because that's not what he's there to do.

Walcott's only started consistently playing towards the end of the season and although he's been really good I can't consider him one of the players of the season. Next year maybe.
