My school (luckily) doesn't have a 6th form (even if it did I wouldn't go to it, i hate my school!) we have 2 local colleges which are pretty neat (one of them is our 'feeder' college, meaning they have to take you on whatever your grades are!) so I'm hoping to get my course in one of them.

    But nevertheless, Well done Jakey!

you would normally expect to find mroe vocational subjects at college and people take less subjects on at college too. (i dont want to make it sound like sixth form is for cleverer people (it is but it sint )

my biology Spec B is good (well i find it interesting, mainly genes and genetic engineering). be careful though because the courses you may want to do could be full up soon

Well I was glad I got on the psychology and sociology courses even if people do say they're boring. I found out you pick again once you get your results anyway.

i didn't get in!!! well i gotta have an interview to discuss why i got 5 concerns, dammmmmmmm lol

i applied for double business, ict, and physics.

but i'm going to college anyway, sixth form is a backup - if i don't get my C in english (slim chance lol), i won't get into college, so i'll go sixth form and resit it.

6th forms are usually on the same campus and use the same facilities as a secondary school.

Which means that often the only new subjects from GCSE they do are things like Pschology or Economics etc.

Nothing fancy like Media Studies or Photography.

that's crap? colleges do a level courses aswell as btecs, first diplomas and national diploma

i'm going to college to do a national diploma in business, specialising in marketing and maybe taking a level law on the side.

    Ok well ill rephrase...

If you go to a naff 6th form like mine... you will only get the choice of basic subjects like English, Maths, Science, Languages, Humanities (e.g. History), Technologies (e.g. ICT), Drama, Art or Music.

Oh and we get Business Studies, Economics or Pschology as the different ones.
