Yeh you can modify your interface. There are many AddOns you can get take a look at some sites such as;

http://wowui.worldofwar.net/
Those are the most used sites for AddOns, take a look at the most popular ones and see what tickles your fancy
. Although I'm sure some people will recommend some to you aswell.

As Mat64 said, there's many Addons. Some will change the look of your Actionbars, portrait etc. Others will help you quest - and even some others will make questing more fun. So you can play a mini game of cards whilst levelling :]

Atlasloot (shows you everything that drops from instances)
Titanbar (shows you your money, durability, coords, etc)
Metamap (shows you ever map, full, without going there)

i dont think he should use questhelper. spoils the fun of reading the quest and figuring it out. imo.
