Beckford has been useless since the day Wise left. He suited that style of play, and he shown it by scoring nearly every other game. With Macca, they've got the ball down on the deck as much as possible and Beckford is struggling big time. Leeds have been carrying him as a passenger whenever I've seen him play, and he's an extremely lazy player.

As nasri says though, he's got a reputation as a goalscorer now and will almost certainly be sold for 1million at the very minimum in the summer. He'll have to go to a club who play direct football though, or it will be money down the drain.

Jamie, that's where you're wrong. Everyone says Wise was the mastermind behind the start to the season Leeds had, 8 straight wins was it? It wasn't though, it was Poyet. As soon as Poyet went to Spurs Leeds' form dropped and before Wise could be blamed, he left as well.

I don't want Rovers to sign Beckford but it wouldn't surprise me, nothing would.

tbh many football experts compliment Elland road saying its a great stadium, Ill take their words for it than yours seeing as their opinions earn them money and yours don't.
and yeh Leeds were better with wise and poyet, miles better.
also, you said bournemouth have nothing.. Leeds had everything that the big clubs such as arsenal, manchester united and chelsea have and have had so much negativity over the last 5 years with finance and greedy chairmen ect. Its extremely hard to go from having that to having what we have atm. Many other clubs couldn't have gone through that ordeal and not gone bankrupt.

Because Man.U don't get involved with crappy people like Ken Bates firstly. I love it how Leeds have gone down the leagues, when like 5 years ago or w.e, they were in the semi-finals of the champo league. I also like it when the team with the "most" $$$$$ in the leagues dont win anything. Leeds had alot of money, despite going into admin, and losing alot due to debt. Leeds fans expect other teams to feel sorry for them, well, not one bit.

Leah - you obviously know nothing about football at all. Leeds are the most hated club in, probably the world because they cheated through everything over the past few years and the used to 'steal' players from local rivals back in the 60's/70's. Leeds have NEVER had money problems - KB said they did to avoid paying fines and in doing so went into administration when they knew they were down last year and because of him lying they deducted 15 points this season.

Ken Bates is the reason why you are where you are. He cheated the FA, he cheated the Football League so how you can say they deserved to go up is stupid. Whoever says that is stupid. Elland Road is a dump, an absolutely dump of a ground. It's made of useless corrugated steel and cardboard. It's not a ground, it's 4 stands around a pitch - that's not a ground. If you go to Elland Road, odds are you'll come out covered in blood.

The media love Leeds, however. This is why Elland Road is complimented. Look North, a local news programme in Yorkshire, did a piece on Rovers winning promotion although it had no interviews, no reaction, no crowd etc it only showed the goal. However, if Leeds won it then they probably would've filled the programme with it because no matter what happens, Leeds will be the biggest club in Yorkshire. Yes, it's part jealously but the fact is it shouldn't be like that. Everyone in the media is biased towards Leeds.

So, Leah - please learn about football and your 'supported' club before you go posting things like that. Please, I hate Leeds and I know more about them than you.
