    Default Radio Slot Ideas [+rep]

    Hey theree,

Basically, I am entering a competition in school, and the prize is a job as a 'DJ' on the school radio station.

For the competition, I need to come up with a new feature for the radio station, with some relation to the station's regular themes, mostly arts and culture.

My simple idea was to do an 'on this day' feature, and explain events that happened in history on that particular day.

If you have a new idea, post it! +rep for all ideas!
Just post me something! I might be generous and +rep it x]!

    Any thoughts?

I actually think the 'on this day' idea is great! Good luck with it all.

Yeah, I think it's cool, too!

But the thing is, being a culture show and all, it'd be better to find local happenings (in this case, Liverpool). However, I really can't find any Liverpool history with any dates more accurate than years.

Anybody that provides a link to a site with the said info gets +rep.
Anybody that provides an adapted form of my idea gets +rep.
Anybody that provides a new idea gets +rep.

Do a karaoke day, when the pupils make their songs up, and play on air.

But on this day is quite cool.

If you go on Wikipedia and search the date, all things that happen in history on that date appear
