Yeah I'm not too big of a fan of the shirt. I'd probably go buy/steal one of my dads better ties.

Just as you dont like them doesn't mean others don't. We dont all care what you think ya know?
Sounds tacky, and boring. No don't wear a waist coat. Everyone that hires out an outfit wear them (you can tell) and most of the look quite tacky and urgh (i'm sure people will disagree with me). I wore a blue long sleeved shirt to mine to match my prom date's dress and I wore a black skinny(ish) tie with it. looked immense.
Not everyone "hires" suits, people do BUY them too you know.

im hiring my prom suit tyvm mr matt.
i dont see the sense on spending so much money on something im gonna wear once, when i can spend like £70, and get the whole shabang, shoes and all![]()
Thats why I'm thinking a suit. If I go for a WC/DJ i'd never wear it again, this way at least I can use it in interviews and such.
If you want sexy, wear pinstripe black shirt with a red/black/grey striped tie (next has them i think?)
From past experience, you're best off buying a 20 pound suit jacket and trousers from asda, and buying a decent shirt and tie, cause everyone ends up taking their jackets off and dancing around in the shirt and tie. Nobody knows whether it's asda or gucci, and nobody cares really, so don't waste your money.
