I'm using an IKEA one, so look in that direction. There is something about cheap, unassembled furniture that is so attractive

    Look in IKEA.

    Yes, use ikea.
Only 10 hours of trying to figure out how to set it up and then find out one of the screws is missing.

Well the best desk I know of is the iGo Desk which is truely amazing. However it wouldn't fit your requirements, but just incase anyone else if looking for a great desk Pureposely built to take Apple products with places for iMac and Mac Mini. At night it makes the room light up with under lights, looks the sex!

    That thing is hideous!

Ermm, I couldn't find a desk to fit my requirements, so what I did was I bought just a stand desk, 7ft long and bought a plank of wood, varnished it and screwed it ontop, it does the job now and added about another 3ft square ontop aswell.

It's not hideous when you see it in real life, in pictures it looks like something from Argos. When you actually see it and use it you see why people love it. It suits the looks of the iMac perfectly.

I don't see the point in a 'desk' which only holds the computer, I would much prefer a good desk where I could put other stuff on the desk.

    IKEA isn't much better.
I'm at a point in my life where I don't care if you like me or you don't. If you like me, cool. If you don't, meh.
