In the Southern States such organizations still exist, but in smaller numbers than there used to be.

There's always a chance any leader can be assassinated. However there are just some people (I cannot find a polite way of saying this) who are just totally ignorant, and their behavior is irrational. But racist groups like this are getting smaller and smaller every day, so it's improving.

In my opinion I want Obama to win, it would be great to see the first African-American president of the United States :eusa_clap!
wudnt it make more sence if e were president of africa or somit no insted of da US

George Bush jr, was the Governor of Texas, and had relatives in the Whitehouse. Did he not have experience? He's had sufficient experience, yet he's currently rated the worst president of the United States..hmm..

One thing I wonder about is how Clinton votes pro Kyl-Lieberman. (Obama never voted) then afterwards turns all anti-war.

Anyhow, Clinton and Obama obviously acknoledge the fact that saying evacuating iran as fast as possible, is going to win over more people. McCain, is being more honest in my opinion, and wishes to evacuate, but over time. His desire for evacuation over a longer duration is more realistic.

I still say it would be great to see Obama win, first African-American president. But I wouldn't lose any sleep to see McCain win either. But in the end it's not a Canadian election...so I don't care very much.

incorrect, actually. garfield was considered a pretty bad president.

or did you only think there were two? there's actually four, but the only ones people talk about are lincoln and kennedy.

Absolutely awful choice, I would rather vote John McCain.

Here are a few reasons why. I could actually write a 10 page essay but let's not go into this much detail.

    1. He has not got the support of the MAJORITY of the population, only more 'super' delegates voted for him, giving him a MAJOR boost.

    2. Michigan and Florida, had only 50% of delegates counted, as they were fined for moving their primaries to an earlier date. Yet again, shows that Clinton has more supports from the people, that's the major thing here.

    3. The majority of white 'blue collar' workers support Clinton.

    4. Clinton won the most vital battleground states that will be extremely critical in the November 2008 election.

    5. Obama won A LOT of rural, more densely populated states, not major cities- crucial for the November election.

    6. Media bias- how the media perceived Obama to be a better candidate

    7. Constant pressure from the top of the Democratic party for Hilary to give up, and discouraged super delegates to vote for her.

    8. Barak Obama with a clear ideology? Don't think so! He always states change, yet what is this change, we don't see clear reasoning behind this and a very vague ethos.

    9. Statistics show that 60%, that's right 60% of Clinton backers WOULD NOT vote for Obama if he won. They would either sit out or vote for McCain. That is a huge and pretty frightening statistic for Obama to get to grips with.

    10. Lack of experience? Absolutely! Obama has had very little experience in the senate, he is a relative new comer. He did not participate in a number of crucial decision, yet hammers people like John McCain who has A LOT and I mean A LOT of experience.

As I said, I could go into so much more detail, but I’m not planning to. The bottom line is, this was an absolutely awful choice, which American will regret.
    1. that is a system that HER OWN PARTY made the rules of. if hillary didn't like it, she'd go on a third party or independent so that she's be counted a different way. she knew the rules and could have used them to her advantage just as obama did.

    2. she's lucky. florida and michigan should have gotten nothing. moving the primaries up is just ridiculous and unneeded, we cant have states spreading out more and more, it makes no sense, so they shouldnt allow states to do it. they should have got nothing.

    3. so? "blue collar" isnt code for "entire country". the majority of the "youth" supported obama. what does that mean? you failed to make a point.

    4. yeah, but all those votes should (actually, will) go to obama. so it makes no difference, they just change to someone else.

    5. mccain didn't do that well in cities either.

    6. yeah, we all know television is dumb, but there was no bias that i saw, hillary made it all herself. she was the one talking all about her "attempted assassination" and getting furious over a mail pamphlet. she was feeding the media, it's her own fault.

    7. because that was when it became evident that it was mathematically unlikely that she would win, so they wanted the healing process to happen faster. the sooner she was out, the sooner they could try to reunite the democratic party. it makes sense.

    8. have you ever watched one of his speeches? he talks about his plans pretty in-depth. its just all the meaningless stuff he has to say that rallies support and connection.

    9. first off, i'd like to see where you got that information, because the poll i saw had that statistic at 28%. secondly, this happens every election - during the primaries people always get separated and become bitter, but most by the general election they find their hate for the other party. because thats when people realize that the candidates in the primary weren't so different (the only significant difference between obama and clinton are their health care policies) and that the other party is not what they want. by the way, you aren't a damn sports announcer. you don't have to describe everything that you think he's feeling (you're wrong, so you know), it's pretty immature. save all the lies and manipulation for clinton's failed tv ads.

    10. lincoln had only a few years of state government experience (no national experience whatsoever) and is considered the greatest president of all time. this president was a governer and his own father was president, and he's considered one of the worst.

i live in america. he won't be shot. its oversimplification. kennedy was a catholic, and there were many people who HATED catholics (there still are). but he wasn't shot for years, and that was for a reason completely unrelated. i don't think anyone is stupid enough to even try (everyone knows they'll be caught, you'd have to sacrifice your entire life), and the cia has shut down multiple assassination attempts in the past few decades, and are security crazy. if there was an assassination for every large amount of people that didn't like a president, all the presidents would be dead.

based on your post, i'm going to go ahead and say britian is stupid.

i doubt he would be shot. i havent seen any ambushes, anti-obama protests or threats (through the news anyway) against obama, so as i said previously, i doubt he'd be shot. i do believe he would be a good president though, and if he picked hilary to be his vp, then i think it would be even more better.
