I'm glad he won out of Hilary and him, but I cant help thinking how this is going to cause very big fights. I'm not racist but there are people out there who didn't want him to win simply because he is black, and I think there is a chance he could get assassinated and I'm sorry to say it but its true, sadly

i doubt it. there have been millions of people pissed about how many soldiers are dying in iraq and haven't killed george bush, and that would be a legit reason to. there's still racism in america, but i dont think there's anyone who'd kill him for being black. racism isn't in groups like it used to be, everyone who's a racist is just a jerk on their own, so i doubt they'd carry it out by themselves. assassinations have to be organized.

I thought we managed to agree a while back on HabboxForum that it's unlikely he'd be assassinated because he's black :S

Condoleezza Rice had one of the most senior position's in Bush's administration and she was black, there's been no threat of that at all.

There still will be racists in America, there's still some in Britain but I very much doubt he'd be assassinated for his skin colour.

The artcile talks about how Obama has claimed victory, it hasn't been announced yet but Hilary clinton is on news 24 now making a speech, i only just turned it on though. She's thanking everybody who helped her so i think shes given up!
