But if he was to insult somebody without a disability, that's acceptable? Give it a break. He is annoying in general.

No, it's not. But that fact that he was only having a laugh with whoever the other 2 guys in the bath were and then whatever that black woman is called came in and had a go at him, yeah she had a right to do that. But it's just the fact that all the people in here that are flaming him for ONE action he did on national TV are almost stereotyping all blind/disabled people.

It's not just that, it's the fact that people are saying stuff like, "someone should guide him to the pool and let him drown" that's morally wrong. And then there's stuff about it being annoying that he has to be guided round everywhere..it's not his flippin' fault.

yeah, it may seem i'm taking this a bit too far, but it pisses me off 'cos 4 family members of mine were/are blind..and if they were talked about like mikey is on here, i'd personally come and find them and slap them silly..

What the hell? How are people stereotyping all blind people? It is his fault, because it wouldn't have happened if he hadn't signed up for Big Brother. He complains about how he thinks everything is his fault because he can't see and all that b/s. Why didn't he think these things through before he signed up for BB? Because he only cares for himself, not others. People need to quit using this as an excuse. There's a difference between having a laugh and taking things too far. He had no reason and no right to put Sylvia's thong/knickers on. Absolutely no right so people need to refrain from posting all of this crap because it IS his fault he did it. You can't blame that on his disability.

You calling Alexandra/Sylvia "that black woman" is just as bad because that is far too direct, that's no way to address somebody of that ethnicity/race. If Mikey wasn't blind, he'd still be as annoying as he is. It's his voice, his personality and his overall attitude towards everything. He isn't doing himself any favours. If he wants to be treated as a normal individual, he needs to stop singling himself out from the others by performing acts he thinks he can get away with.

Yeah, people are taking this too far. You're all saying that people are being really offensive just because we're labelling him as annoying. What if I was to say Heather Mills is annoying? You wouldn't blink twice and she only has one leg. If people are going to back up their argument, they need to start doing a better job of it because it's getting b/s annoying having to answer back all of these ridiculous accusations and ****.

I do agree with you, it's just the fact that someone in this thread put "someone should guide him to the pool and let him drown" that pissed me off..
So what was I meant to call Alex/Sylvia when I didn't know their name? If I used "coloured" I would have had the same reaction..?
Sorry for not knowing all their names. Anyways, I'm just gonna keep getting flamed, so you can all go back to arguing with yourselves.

It's just as bad because that could be classified as discrimination in some way, shape or form.

We were discussing something he said in particular, not about everything else that revolves around the subject. It is just as bad if a member of their race directly said "that white boy/girl over there" - I'm not denying that at all, am I? I didn't think so either.

Yes I know, but someone of their race saying "That White boy/girl" would blow over more easily then someone of our race saying "That Black boy/girl" Dont you agree? Not barking at you or anything, just gets me frustrated, that's all.
