I'm just making this thread to reply to something that mad said in the other thread that was just closed (so I couldn't reply there..)

It's weird how because we opened it people started saying we are allowing bullying. If I closed it the minute he made that thread a complaint would have been made saying we don't allow criticism. Just some more proof to show we can't win with some people

imo, you're right in some respect but I'd say it isn't really like that. If you would have closed the thread right away, yes people would have started saying that you can't accept criticism, etc. but you kept it open, kudos. The mistake you made was that you kept opening it over and over, so that is a bit overboard. It's not the same as just keeping it open or just closing it to begin with.

I think people need to keep certain things in the PM system (such as the original thread made flaming him in such a way) or just made in less of a.. disrespectful manner.

I also think that people need to learn to accept other peoples opinions. Don't start flaming people just because they disagree with you? Accept their point and either move on with your live or do whatever you have to do.. just don't start insulting them.

It seems that there's no such thing as freedom of speech unless you're saying what they want you to say.

I'm not saying any of this to cause any arguments, so if you just plan on posting to talk crap, please don't.

I don't see how they should of opened that thread, it wasn't the sort of criticism they usually prefer, and because it was regarding an issue between him and one member, there was no need to keep it open to get everyone else's opinion when all they were concerned about was flaming a member "/

My thoughts exactly. I can understand that he thought that it was another staff member closing it or whatever, but why keep opening it? I think that it was evident after a couple posts that people felt that Mad was doing a fine job and at some point the conversation just turned into a war against Titch.

Oh well.

truth be told I believe this situation shouldn't continue any further. Titch was the user affected, and he just said to leave it. I think we should just respect his decision and forget about it all, what's done is done.

Once again, this thread isn't about Titch. I couldn't give two ***** about Titch. I don't even know who he was prior to today.

In the original post I was replying to something that mad had said as well as saying that people need to realize that everyone has the right to an opinion and shouldn't be insulted for it (which happens a lot on this forum).

I totally agree with that, I remember making a topic and I got flamed for having an opinion on something, even got negative rep LOL *cry*
I tried to reason with them saying that their opinion is valid, yet they wouldn't have my opinion which was opposite to theirs.
This is still going on and this is one of the main problems of the forum, no freedom of speech.
