I'm going to be honest, they only got it because the team is looking a bit slim on numbers and they're the only people who have stayed put for a while. Nothing to do with their actual skills, I know they're nice people and I'm not going to doubt their abilities as human beings, but I don't think they deserve to be SMODs.
Just my two cents really, other people would be better.
