That's your opinion, not many Freaky Friday fans share it.

    i liked it.
and i think most of the modern generation did.
people don't care whether a film is a remake or not

THEY CARE WHETHER IT IS GOOD

Yeah, that's why the age rating is a 15, so I must be 13?
& because I'm a Media student, it doesn't mean I have the opinion of someone who hates remakes?

    Exactly.

    Ok, we get it.
    It's a remake.
    I don't think anyone's bothered if it's a re-make.
I enjoyed it, and I think a few more people will too.

On the topic of remakes, imo, worst ever remake has to be Charlie & the chocolate factory

Radio Times gave it 1 star - I don't base all my decisions on what Radio Times say, but even Super Hero Movie got 3 stars, so it must be quite crap.

i personally never listen to film critics. the films i enjoy, they tend to think are rubbish. if i see a trailer and enjoy it, ill go see the film. not decide whether to see a film based upon a critics opinion.

i wanna see prom night anyway as the trailer looks quite good. dunno when i will though, as im short of money. probably download it lol.

    exactly.
and i wouldn't base whether i go to see a film based on it's director alone.

Hmm... I prefer watching an updated movie and then watching the originals. I think the remakes are always so dramatically enhanced that you hardly recognise the movie and they just add these new effects to make it look shinier. I do think that movies do this to cash in on old franchises but hey, thats show business.
