yes he did, first time round he did.
Second time round they refused and took him to court.
gosh you know to much about micheal jackson!
It has harmed his career, he dosnt get offered to perform and out of desperation resold thriller album with hip new artists such as Kayne west and Fergie remixing the songs. The album got no where.
oops much?
Of course it has harmed his career, what else would you expect? But he still has a vast amount of respect from his peers in the industry for the incredible influence himself & his brothers/sisters have made in music.yes he did, first time round he did.

I just want to know where you get your information from? The album got nowhere?
Oops much?Thriller 25 was a commercial success, having done particularly well as a re-issue, peaking at number one in eight countries and Europe. It reached number two in the United States, number three in the United Kingdom, and Top 10 on over thirty national charts. In the United States, Thriller 25 was just 14,000 copies short of reaching the number one position selling 166,000 copies. It was ineligible for the Billboard 200 chart as a re-release, but entered the Pop Catalog Charts at number one, where it stayed for ten non-consecutive weeks and had the best sales on that chart since December 1996.[117][118][119][120] In 12 weeks the album had sold 556,000 copies in the United States.[117] It sold 3 million copies worldwide after 12 weeks.

Gotta say your such an argument starter Risque and you love to disagree.
It did not outsell the original Thriller album, meaning he has failed.
I wasnt the one saying it hadnt harmed his career.
It has, extremely.
He shouldnt be an infulence at all, hes a complete mess in my eyes, a shamble.
An then again I dont really care for Micheal, I dont look him up 24/7.
I argue with those who I feel are wrong. Just because another album doesn't out-sell one of their original albums, that means they fail? How senseless. If that's the case then a hell of a lot of artists fail in the industry. You're arguing a pointless cause, LOL! How shouldn't he be an influence? He's a mess now, but beforehand, he wasn't. He was and will forever remain a legend.
I'm not, he has failed how can you say he not? If he hadnt been such a pervert he would have sold so much more copies so dont be stupid we know that he has failed, his album could have sold so much MORE.
Why should he be a legend? People like Elvis Presely deserve it, this man has been a complete weirdo, "wacko jacko". He thinks he has the right to a comeback? He should be locked up in jail, and he will be a legend of course but when he's dead he will always be known as a kiddly fiddler in later life.
"LOL".
everyone thinks he's guilty anyway
well everyone i've talked to and seen on the net
check concreteloop
their poll had 77% (4,343 people) voting that he was lucky to get away with it.
sure, his fans will believe he's guilty but they're not the ones who determine whether his music gets played on the radio or not..
britney had a breakdown and that turned a lot of DJs against spinning her music in the US, her airplay peaks were significantly lower than before, same will happen to him, if not worse.
kiss my swag.
fantasy ride.
Haha what no way, the Thriller album is among the highest selling of all time, you can hardly expect a remix to outsell it; I wouldn't have expected it to do as well as it did considering the circumstances. That's a really poor point to make.
I can say he hasn't failed because he hasn't. His comeback/compilation album was a success, regardless of his sales (which were good considering his absence). I'm not being stupid, I'm just speaking sense.I'm not, he has failed how can you say he not? If he hadnt been such a pervert he would have sold so much more copies so dont be stupid we know that he has failed, his album could have sold so much MORE.

He wasn't regarded as "Wacko Jacko" previous to the allegations for almost what...30 years? He made huge impacts on the industry with his brothers and as a solo artist. How can you defend R Kelly when both him and MJ were acquitted of the allegations? He won't just be known as a kiddy fiddler, perhaps he will be to close minded people (cough) but not to billions of other people.
Concurred.
