Hate to say it, but it just sounds like she isn't interested. The same sort of thing happened to me - my girlfriend broke up with me saying "she wasn't ready for a relationship" then next month she's with someone else.

Yeah, she's been out of order, and tbh seeing as you were such good friends I think she was trying to let you down lightly.
I do believe she likes the attention you're giving her though.
Accept her apology, but I think you should stop flirting with her and just concentrate on being just friends with her ?

When they break up she'll go crying to you and make you feel special again until the next guy. You'll forever be the one who gives her the attention and the praise and worships her for everything she is while she dates guys who aren't good for her and messes you about, but she'll never get with you. This will happen because you will let it, not wanting to lose her when she keeps making you think you've got a chance.

Sadly this is true, stay friends by all means, you are sure to meet someone who is right for you
