Banning people from threads?

So is it possible? It would solve a lot of problem threads. The way it would work is to just select an option/enter a name and it means that certain people are unable to post in that thread. It could also be a VIP feature.

But, i'm sorry to say, it could cause bullying and it would be abused.

Referring to hacks MAD? And Dom, that would also require a hack and management don't install hacks unless it's absolutely necessary.
