However you look at it, you need to realise you and this girl are history - but if you can, try to save your friendship with your best friend. Talk to him about it if you can because life is no fun without your best friend there to enjoy it with you - believe me, i'm talking from experience, and losing my best friend was the hardest thing ever.

Maybe this girl was just being nice to you so you said nice things about her to your best friend.
Maybe you said that many good things about her to your best friend, he began to like her.
Maybe this girl is just confused.

There's lots of reasons, and it isn't right to assume that this is girls in general, because every person is different - even if the majority of girls do seem pretty confusing! But trust me, as you get older, and more experienced, you begin to understand.

If you really want to know what goes through a girl's mind, then I reccommend surgery - but that's another story!
