When selecting details tick the "safe mode" box. This offers the "low detail" mode you are used to.

Everyone complains that RS has bad graphics then you finally get an update and you're moaning about it? If your PC doesn't run it well, it's time you bought a new one. Any semi decent PC can run those specs..
