    Default TehUpload - Downtime

I don't have any other place to post it.. as Habbox Forum is the main userbase of TehUpload.

The site will be going down for a little while today (expected downtime: 1-2 hours) while I install lighttpd onto the server, as well as recode the entire site to get away from Jaxer.

I just switched the index page from Jaxer -> PHP, and let me tell you.. it is 50x faster.

    Hope to welcome you back.

PS: Your images will not be available when Apache goes down.

Hopefully the downtime won't extend past tomorrow. The DNS should be prop. right now.. and I have to finish recoding the site..

Now running on LightTPD instead of Apache, so it will be faster, as well as running PHP 5.2 with eAccelerator.

I thought you said Jaxer was amazing?

But, what I don't understand, just have a box layout (simple CSS) and the uploader, no need for this fancy stuff.
The application is a good idea, just not the huge fancy site.

Jaxer was amazing.. and was a good idea.. for an optimized high pristine server.

For me, it had a huge overhead, and I really didn't need all that framework.

The site is back up (http://www.tehupload.com).

For the application to work, everyone needs to download the new version on the application page

The site should be faster.. tell me if you think it is

    Ahh dang!

Maybe if you try flushing your DNS that should grab the new info, always works for me.

    "
Open Run (Start -> Run, or Windows Key + R)
    Type: cmd

When the command prompt opens type in this order.. wait for it to finish before you type the next one.

    ipconfig /release
    ipconfig /renew
    ipconfig /flushdns

and your DNS should be updated
