They can't freeze it off btw, I have to go into surgery, and they will cut an eye shape around it, and then it'll be stitched.

Oh and I got her to agree, I have to goto the Childrens hospital in Dublin on the 1st of September for an appointment.

I had to almost cry infront of her.

I know that all sounds stupid, but if you were perfect, and so was everyone else, everything would be so boring and uniqueness wouldn't exist.
I worry about my looks alot aswell, like every girl does.
If it's troubling you so much you will have to really make sure she knows how much its affecting you, you could even show her this thread, or be clever aswell by like some people have said, mention that it has risks.

As you get older, you will accept your looks and move on, and people who are worth your time will see past one small mole and see the beautiful person who is there

Moles can carry/hold/can contain cancer ive heard. And to all the people saying "ugly scars" and "scars are awful" etc, scars are just whats left of something, kind of like a memory, so they mean something, and i think all of my scars look pretty cool, however small they are lol. Tell your mom that you dont want to get cancer (if its true what i said in bold) and you want it removed. Sorry if i wasnt much help.

That's moles that develop later on in life. I'm sure if it was at risk of being cancerous the doctor would have done something about it.

Shame the cut would be a cut which would have to be stitched, but with some scars, if you decide not to get them stitched, you don't get as bad of a scar (When my sister cut her forehead, they was going to stitch it. But she said no and she dosn't have a scar).

good for you 100%, you have to realise its not about anyone elses decision its about YOURS! your the one who has had to put up with the terrible bullying etc, so if you want too then go for it. the only concern for you is that, will people bully you even more when they find out you have removed the mole and have a scar on your face that would be the biggest worry for me! but good for you for doing something about it, you seem a very strong and confident charactor dont let a mole affect who you are

If the people know you have a mole and you get it removed, leaving a scar, they will laugh more, but if your hair covers it, they won't actually notice it. But for those who don't know, get it done and then say u were hit my a stone or something!

I got hit by a golf club on my left eye brow and it looks quite cool actually (the scar)

Right, I have a mole on the side of my face, it's on my right cheek, but I have a fringe that covers it. Most people don't know that I have a mole on my face, because i can cover it quite good. And anyway, I went to the doctors with my mum to get it removed, and to get it removed I have to get surgery, meaning I will have quite a big scar. This mole is medium size, and i do hate it, i got made fun of when I was little about it. So like, i'm desperate to get it removed, but the thing is, my mum doesn't want me to get it removed. I do truly want it removed, because I think it makes me look uglier then I am. I hate the way people say, ''Oh you look lovely with a mole on your face, everyone else is just jealous,'' welll their not. It does make you look terrible, theirs nothing nice about it.

But all i need to know is, how can I convince my mum to let me get it removed :S
