Living in a rough area I believe there is no excuse, your right but when you are provocked or feel you have to fit in. There is alot of gangs, postcode wars and school war's. Alot of people be in a gang when there 15-16 to fit in - mainly boy's. London had diffrent ways of other cities. Its completly diffrent, and isnt as funded in some area's.

To say there all "scum" is odd, because alot of them arn't.

I mean the majority are scum, from what I've heard. You don't have to give in to peer pressure though, stabbing people doesn't make you tough - it makes you cowardly. I don't understand why people defend it, even if they live there because surely they can come to the realisation that it's a city of barely any class.

They think they're the bloods and the crips but they're just kids in gym clothes with their mum's knife.

Until you live there you won't know what it's like.
Majority of the city is not scum, and there is plenty of upper class places in London. Though to make people get a "first impression" of London they always point out the bad place's.
They carry knives because they can, because alot of people carry them and to defend yourselves it feel's you have too. An because it gives you almighty power - if anyone annoys you hey just stab them!
It has got out of control, postcode war's espically.

I wouldn't call of them scum though, some are just trying to survive.

I am not defending, I'm saying when one person starts carrying a knife it becomes a trend. It becomes a safety sheild, it could have happened anywhere really. London's first, how long till its your city?

I am not defending my area. Not all of London is rough, but yes most of it is. Dosn't mean there scum, most of the youth don't get the help there needed.
