Will Windows 7 be good or bad? Your Opinions.

I have both XP and Vista and I'd choose vista over XP any day. The programs I have on XP are ALL compatiable, my games run far better, my programs run faster and I love the look and feel of the interface, its sleek, its smooth and it looks professional. XP did look like all that, but Vista is in a class of its own.

Unless you apply a vista theme to XP ^^; Then it runs good and looks good.

my vista is terribly slow - but i think that's to do with the resources its needed. it's always taken ages to boot - ever since i bought it. Not complaining too much though. I don't use that many programs that require lots of resources.

Vista run better if you have over 1.5GB of ram or else it doesn't really make a diffrence, if you have 1GB or lower then it will be slower then xp, but most people seem to have over that now or are upgrading so it shouldn't be a problem now.

Anyhow the touch screen is nothing new, you can buy a touch screen kit from ebay for about £50 (not 100% sure on the price), what new selling features does it actualy have, other then touch screen?

Oh and finally people saying it's to earily Vista's still new! Vista was only a half way point for microsoft, its just there to raise more money in between XP and Windows 7.

No, no that is your opinion. Not facts. My opinion is that I had a 1.8Ghz Toshiba with 1GB of RAM and it wouldn't run Firefox and MSN at the same time until I managed to get hold of an XP license.
