Yes, for my backgrounds I've used brushes, but not every piece of work lmao.

Everybody has their tastes/opinions, JME likes your style, understandable. I however do not. You need to get on some websites for inspiration, stop using brushes and create your own. Also lower the drop shadow on almost everything.
