The drop shadow, it looks abit odd.

The purple is a bit dodgy but other than that quite good.

Try a blue or red.

Yeah I've already looked at blue and will try out red today.

Like said, the purple isn't so great. It is a nice purple, but if you are going to put it, there needs to be more in my opinion. I also think there shouldn't be so many links and such, and the Ad Banner will look odd where it is placed right now. Other than that, well done!

Again the add banner is only dummy that’s something people must realize, Where about do you think there are too many links? In the footer or along the side navigation?
