Well frankly, it should be a VIP feature to create 'clubs' and a members feature to join them. Thats the only way I could see it going for HxF, and I rather like the sound of that anyway. There wont be a load of junky groups around. Groups with less than 5 members after a month of them being created can then be pruned automatically.

I think the groups should be moderated so that it's actually needed, so you don't get people making loads of random crap like "spoon lovers" or something. The idea of a groups function would be best for actual social groups rather than just interests

Everything will be moderated, with the general maturity level of this forum everything NEEDS to be moderated unfortunately. We wouldn't let something like this go without moderation.

Mayyybe you could apply to be a "group leader" and be given special permissions to set up your own group if you're successful. That'd definately cut down on the spam groups AND make you feel important GO BRAINWAVES
