Mods can initiate safety bans, or has that been discontinued now?

Safety bans are no longer given unfortunately, and haven't been for best part of a year now.
It's the quality of your posts that count, not the quantity!

Dignity does not consist in possessing honours, but in deserving them.

If you feel that your furniture is in danger, transfer it to another account. MODs have much high priority calls to deal with.
Y'know, I'd have thought being hacked and having your furni taken would be quite a high priority but whatever. Surely they should be slightly more helpfull if the PS staff are away.

I'm not saying they are away, just that sometimes when they are the HHT can be slow to reply. Also, they don't deal with hacks, so even if PS Staff are away, it won't matter as they can't help.

Well yes, they can help. They could give advice, like change your password or transfer furni or whatever, instead of just saying "contact PS"... in my job, I have to help customers with queries on departments other than my own - that's why we're renowned for good customer service.

It's YOUR responbility to keeping your account safe.

It's MODs responbility to make sure that no online predators are looking for teenagers etc.

I'm sure that it wouldn't harm anyone... or waste anyones time if they brought back safety bans. However there was complications with these, like PS staff not unbanning them. Surely MODs get some time idolising and being bored?

I don't see safety bans coming back as there are complications with them. And two MODs between 7000 members, I don't think they get much spare time.

    It does waste time.

MODs have to ban, put a ban reason, then PS have to look into all of it, find the cause, then unban... None of it is needed if people keep their accounts safe.

And no, MODs don't have any time being bored

My apologies, I thought they had more than two mods on at a time?
