If your having a problem lining up, in FSX In ATC when your in the airports landing pattern connect to their tower, then after you have reuested landing it says something like Find route or something similar that tells you 1'o clock 5 miles or 11'o clock - 11'oclock meaning you have to turn right then the airport is 5m away.

It may say 12'oclock meaning your on track

Lols, I think your meant to be on 12'o clock so you need to turn left to get on 12 o'clock to be online with runway
