Hello,

I wanted to compliment the HxF staff for doing a terrific job. I think as a whole the forums continue to improve and serve as a great place for habbo & non habbo fans alike. I'd like to especially compliment the AGM's on constant great work, it's always good to see the top guys not sitting around doing nothing. Keep up the great work.

Just thought I'd throw a few of my suggestions in the hat to be considered.
~ Move the 'Habbo' section up towards the top of the forum, above 'Trading'... I just think this would be a good idea due to convenience.
~ Make 'Trading' a section inside 'Habbo' rather than its own category. I think it would make it more organized & save some space, but maybe that's just my opinion. -- If not I thought I'd suggest removing the 'Trading' link entirely in 'Habbo', considering Trading is on the front page anywho.
~ Move 'Bobba, Scams, and Glitches' into Habbo in General.. Just saving space here.

And for your general amusement which probably won't get taken seriously...
~ Consider removing negative rep. It gives people a false sense of power, and often incites more problems. Mod's have the job of taking care of problem posts, maybe it should be left at that?

I like some ideas, but the removal of -rep doesn't give people freedom, and some people do abuse it yes, but some people use it where it has a reason.

The Habbo Section being moved up above trading is probably your best idea, as you can access Habbo before you go to Habbo "Trading", but by making Trading just a Forum wouldn't be very good because if you want International Trading and then you have to click on the Trading Forum then another sub-forum. A way to get round that is to not have sub-forums and just have the "Trading" Forum and use Tags.

Bobba, Scams and Glitches isn't the most active Forum so moving that would be a good idea as not everyone is interested in the Forum and if they want it then they could easily just go to Habbo In General and click it!

But overall good ideas and +rep

I agree with mergeing the hotel parts of the inrenational part but it has to have 2 prefixes so you would have on the left the hotel you are giving the furni on and on the right you will have the other hotel trading to so
(UK to US: Selling HCS) as an example

Quite a nice idea there.

However, that would be alot of prefixes.

UK to USA
UK to ES
UK to SG
UK to AU
UK to DE
USA to UK
USA to ES
USA to SG

and so on - We're talking nearly 160 prefixes if it was done for every country. I guess, however, it could be knocked down to 10-15 if we just did the English hotels, and had an "other" option.

Moving Habbo above trading most certainly would make sense because trading is only an aspect of Habbo itself, although a major one. I agree Habbo should be above it but I don't think any of us will be losing any sleep over it.

However, I don't agree that Trading should merely be a sub-forum within the parent forum "Habbo" because as you can see the trading forum is a very active forum as Habbox has very strong links with the community. I know there's people who use this for the fundamental reason of the trading forums. If they were inactive then it'd be a good idea but seeing as it's so active it deserves it's own category.

If we were to remove the function of -repping then +repping would become pointless too. The reputation system can only work properly if you have both available to you. If it's used like it should be then you would +rep with constructive posts and -rep "trolls" and what not. Not as many people deserve -rep then +rep but that just shows what a great community we have .

Very true point. I guess I was thinking only putting the "Buying" Tag, but I can see how that could get confusing.

In regards to the repping, yeah I see what you mean. Another forum I frequent uses a different method, having a "Thanks" button (near the "quote" button). There is a list below the post of all the people that have "Thank"ed them for a useful post. Thanks end up going towards rep as well as having a total thanks counter. -Rep is not used on the forum, and generally it works out pretty well for them. Then again, different forum, different situation. Just a thought.
